THIS WEEK: Dance Day with adjusted class schedule, Dance Assembly, DancePlus Fall 2012, Technique C guest artist Igal Perry, ballet guest artist Assaf Benchetrit
ADMINISTRATIVE NOTES AND REMINDERS
DANCE DAY is this Tuesday, December 4. We will be hosting 250 high school dance students who will be here to take classes and see a performance by University Dance Works. Morning ballet, yoga, and technique classes are cancelled. For non-UDW students, BFA classes will begin at 12:35pm, with the exception of Ballet 6 with Ginger as most of her class are UDW members. For senior UDW students, please go to the second section of Dance History on Tuesday.
PROTECT YOURSELF AND YOUR BELONGINGS. Every year around the holidays we have problems with intruders in our spaces, often resulting in theft of our personal items. Please do not leave belongings unattended. Please be sure to lock your lockers and offices even if you are just leaving for a short period of time. Let’s keep an eye out for one another this season. Thank you!
DANCE ASSEMBLY, DECEMBER 5. All students are required to attend Dance Assembly this Wednesday for showings from Improvisation I, Sound & Movement, African Fusion, an announcement from Dance Marathon, and a solo by Anais Roche. Please bear in mind that assemblies requiring full student body attendance have been posted on the room 100 board since the beginning of the semester. It is your responsibility to mark these dates in your planner and to attend. Aside from extreme circumstances, absence will not be excused this week, and a 6-page paper will be required to receive a satisfactory grade for the term.
