Immerse yourself in the world of contemporary dance and the dynamic art, artists and processes of Carolyn Dorfman Dance.
Daily classes are offered in modern/contemporary technique, repertory, partnering, Pilates, Body Therapies, and workshops with renowned guest artists.
Join our inner circle through daily meetings with the company. The week culminates in a performance featuring all participants and the Carolyn Dorfman Dance company.
Tuition: $350
Need-based scholarships are available on a first come, first served bases.

Dance Place Fall Internship Opportunity
Dance Place is seeking college students and recent graduates interested in learning how a thriving dance center operates from the inside out. The experience will enhance participants’ abilities to shape sustainable, creative careers. Interns are selected for specific departments including: technical theater, production, development, arts administration, marketing and youth development. Internships are available with housing provided, or if you are located in the DC area consider the non-housing option!
Dance Place is currently accepting applications for their Fall 2016 Internship Program. The internship would begin August 26th and end December 17th. The application deadline is June 10th, no later than 6pm!

Dance/NYC Brooklyn for Dance Volunteer Opportunity
Dance/NYC is currently looking for volunteers for their upcoming Brooklyn for Dance event to be held on Monday, May 23, 2016 from 6:00pm-8:00pm, at Mark Morris Dance Center in Brooklyn, with a pre-reception from 5:00pm-6:00pm
About the Event:
Dance/NYC’s 2016 Brooklyn for Dance Event celebrates dance and culture in Brooklyn. This memorable evening will include choreography and cocktails, with dance stars, advocates, patrons, and friends celebrating the borough. Proceeds from this event benefit Dance/NYC’s year-round programming.
