Dallas Black Dance Theatre Auditions

Ja’Duke Center for the Performing Arts in Turners Falls, Ma educates over 400 students in performing arts weekly. Beyond this, they produce over 20 performances a year in their newly built 500 seat theater. 


Kimberly Williams, owner, is currently looking for instructors to fill out our expanding program. She is seeking instructors who would be capable of  teaching various ages in many areas of dance including: ballet, tap, jazz, hip-hop, musical theater. lyrical, contemporary, modern. Interviews to begin asap in hopes to train faculty in the summer for positions in the fall.

Camp Watitoh Summer Employment

Camp Watitoh is a co-ed residential camp in the Berkshire Mountains in Massachusetts. We are home to about 220 kids and about 115 staff (from all over the world!). Our open positions range from general counselors, to sports specialists such as tennis and street hockey, to waterfront staff (specifically lifeguards and swim instructors), arts & crafts (specifically ceramics) staff and more! We are in search for college aged students looking to have the best experience of their life, who love working with kids, and who love being outdoors! A full summer commitment is required from Mid June-Mid August. Included with your salary is a non-taxed travel stipend, housing, meals, and if needed, internship credit! NW Dance Project Hiring Summer Dance Intensive Chaperones!

NW Dance Project is a professional contemporary dance company based in Portland, Oregon. We are currently accepting applications for a chaperone position during our annual Summer Dance Intensive. We are seeking applicants who have experience working with teenagers, possess excellent communication skills, and are self-motivated and reliable. BFA Alum Erin Ambry and BFA Senior Sawyer Newsome will be attending their LAUNCH project this summer!

Dates: JUL 12 – AUG 8 / 2020

Hours: Monday through Friday (Overnight 5:00pm to 9:00am) + all day weekends 

Location: Portland, Oregon I Portland State University

Responsibilities: Chaperones are responsible for supervising and advising resident students ages 14 to 18. Chaperones oversee daily check-in and check-out procedures, plan engaging weekend activities,  monitor student behavior when needed, and accompany students to any medical or physical therapy appointments made during the intensive.

Compensation: $400 / per week ($1,600 for the duration of the intensive). Housing is provided (single room with private bath and kitchenette) and 2 meals per day. Chaperones are invited to take daily ballet and contemporary technique classes with participants.
